TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

Government of Maharashtra has been taken several steps to improve education quality but government efforts could not do enough. Therefore, an initiative is taken for betterment and impact on increasing quality of education. One Day teacher training program are arranged in the vicinity area. Expert teachers with good experience were called for sharing their ideas, experiences and methodologies of teaching to scholarship class.

Main objective of this training is to refresh the teachers with their methodologies and sharing of experiences which help them to tackle in their respected school environment. It includes various demanding subjects such as Personality Development, Teacher learning module and pedagogy, Competitive exam preparation classes, Class controlling, Happy class etc. apart from the training program more emphasis is given on positive participation of the teachers in making more innovative ideas to increase their student’s interest in education and career development.

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING PROGRAM

Swarup is working for the development of various areas of community since 2000. Here the program is designed for educational and career guidance and counseling for youths and children. Career guidance and counseling plays a key role is helping students, youths to meet their goals.
The main goal of this service is to provide counseling and career guidance so that students and youths know their own skills and professional interests, in order to choose an appropriate career in accordance with their psychological profile, aspiration, professional requirement and existent jobs, in the current conditions and requirement of socio-economic development of the students.
For this purpose different psychological tests are administered to understand underlying Abilities, Aptitude & Intelligence. Guidance and counseling is done according to corresponding psychometric analysis reports. This project is carried out in a joint venture. Some well known company CSR are now accredited for same program.

ACADEMIC COACHING AND COUNSELING PROGRAM (ACCP)

SWARUP is aiming to create a friendly environment in educational institute by setting up various initiatives for students, parents and teachers’ development. Working with these stakeholders it is realized that basic academic needs of these important stakeholders to be addressed very scientifically. The pupils are facing lots of academic burden and stress, the natural response towards the learning ability has been declining and it is being impacted on development of the pupil. On the other end, there are some genius students who have a capability to achieve a tremendous success in competitive exams, if they get provided with proper guidance for such exams. Hence, a special Academic Coaching and Counseling program has been carried out in the vicinity area (Ahamadnagar, Sangali and Satara) of TATA Power Community Development Trust (TPCDT), Mumbai. The main objective of this intervention is to develop below average students to chase at least their basic academic grades and carve their academic concepts smartly. ACADEMIC COACHING AND COUNSELING program has started to give its intervention for the targeted primary school children. A scientifically developed module was being used. Students are learning through this module and teachers are providing their assistance and guidance
